With the unwavering support of St. Luke's College, I successfully made the transition from Christchurch, New Zealand to Western Australia. Transferring my New Zealand Teaching Registration was a seamless process, thanks to the efficient procedures in place. I am grateful to have discovered that the Australian education system is highly supportive of teachers, as evidenced by the numerous benefits I have received. Notably, I experienced a remarkable 30% increase in my salary, along with the added advantages of subsidised housing, a location allowance, and an air conditioning allowance. These incentives have truly enhanced my professional and personal life in Australia.

After making the life-changing decision to relocate from Sydney to Karratha, I can confidently say that it was the best choice I ever made. St. Luke's College, with its small and supportive environment and emphasis on family values, has provided me with an enriching teaching experience. The opportunities for personal and professional growth have been abundant, allowing me to expand my leadership role and witness positive changes within both the community and the College. Originally planning to stay in Karratha for just two years, I recently celebrated my remarkable milestone of teaching for a decade at St. Luke's College.
