Principal's Welcome

Welcome to St Luke's College – a Catholic co-educational school founded on the dual ethos of the Christian Brothers and the Presentation Sisters.

I extend to you a very warm welcome to the St Luke's College website where we offer you a glimpse of what our College has to offer for your child's education and transition into adulthood. Here you can find out about the values and philosophies that form the foundation of our curriculum and the St Luke's approach to adolescent development.

Our College seeks to provide a wealth of opportunities to the students of the Pilbara in academic, sporting and cultural pursuits, whilst working closely with local industry and community. We endeavour to build strong student and community relationships as part of our pastoral care approach with a focus on the individual needs of each student.

The College provides a vertical House system which encourages strong student bonds across year groups and builds on the student pastoral program operating within the school. Our students identify strongly with their House identity and Patrons and are offered many opportunities to actively live and grow their faith.

At the heart of our mission is a desire to provide a welcoming environment where each of our students are nurtured, celebrated, and challenged to be the very best version of themselves.

Our staff recognise that no significant learning ever occurs in the absence of a meaningful relationship between student and teacher and 'knowing our students' is imperatively embedded into the learning process and a major part of St Luke's life.
