Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program

Background

St Luke's College uses a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program.  The school, in consultation with its information technology provider and stakeholders, has determined specifications appropriate for usage at the College. Students will need to bring their own computer device to school.

The device specifications identify the minimum and recommended requirements for student devices. This will seek to ensure that the functional activities that the devices are required to support are met. Together with Command I.T. the school recommends the two devices listed below. If purchasing this device, you will be ordering directly through Command I.T.

For those who are not purchasing one of the recommended models, please try to purchase a laptop with similar specifications and avoid, where possible, Apple devices such as Macs or iPads and Chromebooks as support for these products are limited.
