Celebrating the Achievements of Our Year 11 Students – 2026 Awards Assembly

St Luke's College came together yesterday morning to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Year 11 students at the annual Year 11 Awards Assembly, recognising a year of hard work, dedication, perseverance and success.

The assembly provided an opportunity to acknowledge the many accomplishments of our students throughout 2026, with awards presented across a range of categories, including ATAR and General Academic Excellence, Vocational Education and Training (VET), Sport, Service and Leadership.

A special congratulations to our major award recipients:

  • Year 11 ATAR Dux: Gorjan Saltamarski

  • Year 11 ATAR Proxime: Ben Cragan

  • Year 11 Industry-Bound Dux: Max Grasso

  • Year 11 Industry-Bound Proxime: Lily Fowler

We also recognised the outstanding efforts of students who participated in the National History and Geography Competitions, celebrating their impressive achievements. Adding another special element to the assembly, students who recently took part in the Vietnam Immersion shared their experiences with the College community, reflecting on the cultural connections, valuable lessons and memorable opportunities gained throughout their journey.

A Thank You to Our Generous Sponsors

The success of our awards assembly would not be possible without the continued generosity and support of our local businesses, organisations and community representatives. Their commitment to recognising and encouraging student achievement plays an important role in supporting our young people to strive for excellence.

We extend our sincere thanks to:

  • Santos Limited

  • Woodside Energy – Karratha Roebourne Education Initiative (KREI)

  • Rapid Air

  • Westug

  • Regional Development Australia

  • Dampier Plumbing and Gas

  • Kevin Michel MLA, Member for Pilbara

We are incredibly grateful for your ongoing partnership and contribution to the St Luke's College community.

Congratulations to all our Year 11 award recipients and students recognised throughout the assembly. Your achievements are a reflection of your commitment, determination and hard work, and we are extremely proud of everything you have accomplished this year.

As our Year 11 students enter their final week of classes, we wish them all the very best as they complete their studies for 2026. In particular, we send our best wishes to our ATAR students as they prepare to commence their examinations. We hope you approach this final challenge with confidence and that you enjoy a well-deserved break before returning to St Luke's College in 2027 for your final year of schooling.

Congratulations, Year 11! We look forward to seeing all that you achieve in your final year at St Luke's College.
