Celebrating the Class of 2026 – Year 12 Graduation Day 🎓

Friday, 16 October marked a very special milestone at St Luke’s College as we came together to farewell and celebrate our graduating Class of 2026.

The day began with our Year 12 Graduation and Awards Assembly , where students, staff, families and special guests gathered to recognise the achievements and contributions of our Year 12 students. The graduating class made their entrance into the Gymnasium, welcomed by their Heads of House, before the assembly officially commenced.

Following an Acknowledgement of Country and prayer led by Jakeile Coffin, Principal Mr Adrian Correia addressed the College. The assembly continued with the presentation of academic Excellence Awards and special awards, recognising outstanding achievement in ATAR and General subjects, vocational education and training, leadership, service, sport, arts and community involvement.

A special thank you goes to our generous sponsors and award presenters, whose ongoing support allows us to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our students each year.

Our 2026 Head Boy, Yani Davis, and Head Girl, Olivia Caspersz, delivered their final address to the College, reflecting on their leadership journey and the memories made throughout the year. Jack Radley then spoke on behalf of the graduating cohort before the Year 12 farewell video was presented, bringing together memories from their time at St Luke’s.

In a fitting conclusion to the assembly, the Class of 2026 exited the Gymnasium for the final time through a Guard of Honour formed by our Year 11 students.

Following the assembly, students returned to their House Assemblies , where Harding, Fortescue, Maitland, Nickol and Sherlock each held their own celebrations to farewell their Year 12 students. These gatherings provided an opportunity for House members to share memories, express their appreciation and celebrate the contributions of their graduating students. The morning concluded with a special recess provided by students from each House, allowing everyone to enjoy one final celebration together.

Later that afternoon, our graduates and their families gathered at the church for a 5:00pm Graduation Mass , providing a meaningful opportunity to reflect on their journey, give thanks and look ahead to the exciting opportunities awaiting them.

The celebrations continued into the evening with the Year 12 Graduation Dinner , where students, families and staff came together for a memorable night. Each graduating student was individually celebrated, with heartfelt speeches from parents and students sharing treasured memories, personal reflections and words of encouragement for the future.

It was a wonderful day filled with pride, laughter, reflection and celebration, marking the end of an important chapter for our Year 12 students.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! We are incredibly proud of all you have achieved and the contributions you have made to St Luke’s College. We wish you every success and happiness as you begin your next chapter. 💙
