Celebrating Founder's Day 2026!

What a fantastic day of faith, tradition, competition and College spirit we enjoyed as we came together to celebrate Founder's Day 2026 !

The day began with a beautiful whole-school Mass , providing an opportunity for our College community to come together in prayer and reflection before taking on one of our most treasured Founder's Day traditions — the run up the hill! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

After conquering the hill, students returned to the College to enjoy a full day of activities, games and plenty of fun. The day was filled with laughter, friendly competition and plenty of House spirit as students and staff celebrated what makes our College community so special.

The celebrations came to a close with our Founder's Day Awards , where we recognised some outstanding achievements from the day.

A huge congratulations to Christian Hadley , who was crowned our King of the Mountain , and Savannah Simmons , our Queen of the Mountain ! 👑 What an incredible achievement!

The biggest celebration, however, went to Sherlock House , who made history by claiming their first-ever Founder's Day Shield! 💜🏆 As our newest House, this is a fantastic achievement and a moment that will certainly be remembered.

Congratulations, Sherlock House!

Thank you to everyone who helped make Founder's Day 2026 such a memorable celebration. From the Mass and mountain run to the activities, games and awards, it was a wonderful day of community, tradition and College pride.

Happy Founder's Day, St Luke's!
