Graduation day was a truly memorable day for the St Luke's College community as we came together to celebrate the Class of 2025!
The day began with a whole-school assembly, attended by proud parents and our generous sponsors. The assembly was filled with heartfelt moments — from the final speeches by our Head Boy, Brian Nguyen, and Head Girl, Ella Dale, to a touching farewell message from graduate Kaylan Lynch, and a fun video celebrating the journey of the Class of 2025.
The assembly also featured the presentation of several prestigious awards:

The final presentation of the day was the prestigious Walkington Award, presented by Mayor Daniel Scott. Congratulations to Brian Nguyen, recipient of the 2025 Walkington Award for his outstanding academic achievements and exceptional community involvement.
Now in its 42nd year, the Walkington Award is presented annually by the City of Karratha to support a local Year 12 student in their tertiary studies. The $10,000 prize is named in honour of the late Dr. Al Walkington, Foundation Director of Karratha College (now North Regional TAFE).
The assembly concluded with a symbolic tunnel of farewell as the Year 12s walked out of the hall for the final time as St Luke's College students. The celebrations continued within each house, where students and staff gathered to reflect and share their best wishes.
The day ended with a meaningful Graduation Mass attended by staff, students, and parents, followed by a beautiful Graduation Dinner at REAP — a fitting finale to a special day.
We wish all our Year 12 students the very best in their future endeavours. The entire St Luke's community is incredibly proud of you and excited to see where your journeys will lead!
