New Mural Transforms St Luke's With Colour and Community Spirit
Students at St Luke's College returned from the July school holidays to a vibrant surprise — a stunning new mural coming to life in the heart of the school, thanks to the incredible talent of local artist Adam, known professionally as Artbyrow.
The large-scale artwork, captures the spirit of St Luke's by blending portraits of students with iconic Karratha landscapes, native flora and fauna. It serves as a powerful visual celebration of both the school community and the rich natural environment of the Pilbara region.
As students stepped back onto campus for Term 3, many were caught off guard by the colourful transformation. Their reactions ranged from wide-eyed wonder to enthusiastic selfies in front of the evolving mural.
"It was such a joy to see their faces light up in awe," said a staff member. "There's something incredibly special about seeing our school reflected in such a meaningful and beautiful way."
The mural is expected to become a lasting focal point within the school — not only enhancing the physical space, but also reminding students of the connection they share with each other and their surroundings.
St Luke's College extends a heartfelt thank you to Adam for his breathtaking vision, skill, and generosity in bringing this masterpiece to life. The school community is eagerly watching as the final touches are added in the coming weeks.
