We were thrilled to kick off Term 3 with a whole-school celebration at our Year 7–12 Excellence Awards Assembly, held in the College gym. The event brought together students, staff, and proud families for a special occasion that recognised the hard work and achievements of our students throughout Trimester 1.
Across the assembly, over 260 awards were presented, acknowledging excellence, effort, and achievement in a wide range of subjects and activities. A highlight of the morning was the presentation of the Excellence Awards, where teachers awarded the highest-achieving student in each class. These awards reflect not only academic success but also dedication and a consistent commitment to learning.
Another proud moment was the recognition of our Country Week teams. Each team was invited to the stage and celebrated for their outstanding participation and sportsmanship. One student from each team was selected to receive a medal for being their team's best all-rounder or star player, a special honour reflecting both skill and team spirit.
Mr Bradley closed the assembly with a preview of the exciting events coming up this term, including Founder's Day and the always-anticipated Athletics Carnival.
To wrap things up, Eve and Ella from the Student Executive Team addressed the assembly, giving an update on upcoming student-led projects and initiatives. Their leadership and enthusiasm were the perfect way to end the event on a high note.
The assembly was a fantastic way to launch Term 3 – full of celebration, pride, and inspiration for the term ahead.
