Welcoming everyone back from the July school holidays, we held a whole school assembly dedicated to the Excellence Awards and congratulating our Country Week team from last term. The Excellence Awards are awarded by teachers to the highest achieving student for each class. For Year 7 and Year 8 electives, they are awarded to the top achieving student from Trimester 1 only. Here at St. Luke's College, we hold a strong belief in acknowledging and celebrating our students' achievements in their studies. Congratulations again to all our Excellence Award winners on your incredible achievements in Semester 1. Keep up the great work!
After the awards, we celebrated the Country Week teams for all their efforts. Through the Perth weather and sickness, our St Luke's team stayed strong and came home with some amazing results. One being the A Grade Boys Basketball team who came home with the Championship! Can't wait to see what happens next year!
Ending the assembly with the house points result, which sees Maitland on top of the leaderboard, but anything can happen the year isn't over students!
