Give Back Project

Over the last term, the Year 7 students have embarked on an inspiring initiative known as the Give Back Project, which encourages them to make a positive impact both within the school community and the wider society.

During lunchtimes, some students facilitated engaging activities for other students such as movie sessions, chess lessons, a photo booth and Minute-to-win-it while others organised morning teas or cleaned up classrooms for staff.

There were groups that also decided to give back outside of school, offering to clean up the Dampier Foreshore, crafting get-well cards for patients at the Karratha Health Campus and assisting at St Vincent de Paul and St Paul's Church.

Some of the Year 7 students were lucky enough to extend their acts of kindness at their old primary schools by facilitating activities with students and hosting Q&A sessions with Year 6 students who wanted to know more about the transition to high school.
