Founders Day
On Friday 23 June, we began the day with Founders Day Mass followed by a stroll down memory lane as Mrs Tittums, reminded us to honour and think of the founders who began the traditions we carry on with today.
St Luke's students participated in the annual King & Queen of the Mountain climb. Students scored Individual and House points based on participation and competitive results. Congratulations to everyone who took part in the event, and a big thank you to students for the way they conducted themselves during the course of the day.
The following information outlines the fastest people up the hill, but we also acknowledge those students who challenged themselves to do their personal best!

Following King & Queen of the mountain, students returned to school for recess followed by a walk through the Trade Training Centre taking a look at the STEM expo. Shortly after various activities began across Campus including Zorb Soccer, Nerf Wars, various games of skill or luck, dancing in the Rave room or dressing up for the photo booth. Lots of fun, lots of food.... and the annual staple of Fairy Floss from Fortescue House proving to be most popular once again! All money raised by each house (through food or activities) is donated to their chosen charity.
We finished off the day with presentations in the gym and Sam Ninaus serenading the houses with his karaoke rendition of Sweet Caroline. Kudo's to Sam and his back up vocalists (Ned Van Dongen & Mrs Hill) for their efforts! There was a great vibe in the gym and plenty of smiling faces.
This Founder's Day was a massive success due to the whole school effort put in by all Staff and Students. A big thank you to all of you!
