STEM Students Use Virtual Reality

Lessons in VR

Our STEM Academy students are starting 2023 by learning about some of the different technologies, including virtual reality, augment reality and 3-D printing, that are becoming more prominent in many industries. In our first session students were able to access online virtual reality content while using the new Merge VR headsets.

These headsets turn their smart phones into virtual reality devices. In the coming weeks these students will have the opportunity to explore more technologies and use them to create their own content based on different concepts that they are learning in their core classes, along with additional projects that they are given.
