St Luke’s College is a Catholic co-educational college founded on the dual ethos of the Christian Brothers and the Presentation Sisters. We are a Catholic learning community seeking to develop young people to be the best they can be, make a positive difference in the world and actively live their faith.

The College opened in 1987 and is the Pilbara’s only Catholic secondary College, currently catering for 455 students from Years 7-12 from the city of Karratha, as well as the surrounding towns of Dampier, Wickham, Roeburne and Point Samson.

Her Excellency Kerry Sanderson.
Recently, the College was fortunate to host a visit from the West Australian Governor, Her Excellency Kerry Sanderson. Her Excellency met with the winners from our STEAM competition and spent time speaking with them individually about their entries and the science behind them. It was a pleasure to host the visit, and she strongly commended St Luke’s on our excellent results and the wonderful STEAM program which is developing.

Parents of students in Years 7 & 9 will have recently received their child’s NAPLAN report. The College NAPLAN results were pleasing this year, showing that our trajectory of improvement is continuing. Year 9 results have improved in almost all areas and our Year 7 results have given us a strong indication of where patterns are emerging so that the College can best adapt our programs.
